Halloween parties are a night for fun and adventure. Dressing up as a vampire or a ghost or a Dracula is fun in itself. Moreover, you get a truckload of candies and cookies to tempt you into eating.

Preparing the venue of the Halloween is an adventure in itself. Painting shulls on the wall and lighting the place in a spooky manner is the most important task one needs to do. After all, its all about getting the right look for the occasion. You cannot have your everyday lighting work on the Halloween night. More than what is available in the market, it is important to experiment with what you already have. Keep in mind the following tips and ideas if you have a Halloween on the way.

• When it comes to Halloween, black rules, including the lightings. They create the perfect atmosphere of the horror night. Go out in the market and buy a few black light fixtures for the night.
• You do not need to invest a lot on the quality of the bulbs as you will not need it frequently. So, the lesser the cost, the better it is. But that does not mean that you will buy anything cheap available. Check out if you really need it or you are buying it because it is so cheap.
• Black light will give a purple glow to your place which is attractive, unusual as well as sensible. Your friends will like it to any other color light and will praise your job and call you a good host.
• Your costumes and accessories may have glow in the dark things attached to it. You can paint your finger nails of both hand and feet with a fluorescent glow in the dark nail paint.
• It is not safe to over do with electric lighting as a lot of people will throng into your house wearing heavy costumes and may trip on wire. There are also chances of getting electric shock as no one is in a mood to observe safety measures. So, it is better to make use of glow paints and work magic with it.
• You can paint skull bones on the walls with glow paint. You can paint faces on balloons with glow paint and hang it up at unconventional places. You can even paint the floor and make mysterious signs and symbols like voodoo etc.
• There are a number of safe products available in the market such as glow sprays. It will give an eeire glow in the area it is sprayed. You can spray it on your curtains etc. If you want to get a step ahead, go out and welcome your guests by spraying it on them(not on their faces but on their feet!).
• You may keep the hall dark and eerie but the pathway should be properly lit up. Also take note that you do not use any candles to light up the area. Many invitees will wear costume or accessories made up of paper which might catch fire if it comes in contact with candles.
• You can also provide your guests with flashlight or torch so that they can enter comfortably and do not trip over anything.
