Down Lighting

• shines light in the downward direction which can look very effective to light up specific areas.
• It gives the appearance of a sunlight falling from above, just that it is more focused.
• It is also used to give a fall to walls.

Up Lighting

• This type of light throws light in the upward direction that looks very dramatic if used properly and on the right object.
• It looks good when used on trees, outdoor sculptures, tree house etc.

Front Lighting

• The source of the light comes in front of the object to clarify it's detail.
• It is used on things where we need a very accurate and detailed view of the object.

Back Lighting

• This type of light throws light from the back of the article to make an interplay of shadow and translucent light.

Side Lighting

• Throws light from the sideways to emphasize the article.
• It creates a very beautiful shadow effect that can be really mesmerizing.
