- (Disks with repeated record or re-recorded disks) – such disk you can rewrite CD-Rewritable or CD-RW, that is erase from it the information and write down other information.
Work occurs to these disks so: have written down, have cleared, have written down other information, have erased, have again written down and until izcherpaetsja a disk resource.
- DVD-R (DVD+R) – “disposable” DVD-disks: as well as in a case from CD-R, you can write down such disk only once, erase the written down information you cannot. About what differ DVD-R from DVD+R, you learn in other article.
- DVD-RW (DVD+RW) – reusable DVD-disks. Disks with unitary record on simple name “pigs”. At purchase of compact discs pay attention to their following properties: speed of record and capacity. With usual CDs-R of problems at you will not be – practically all of them allow to write down 700 Mb of the information with the maximum speed 48х or 52х. And here from CD-RW a bit different situation: to you can sell a re-recorded disk in capacity of 650 Mb on which it is possible to write only with a speed 4х. On it even a normal film you will not write down, even if will get, it will register very long (about 20 minutes). To begin with buy a little rewritten (DVD) CD-RW of disks. If something goes not so, you at least can rewrite them, and the pigs spoilt at unsuccessful attempts of record, you should throw out. When “will fill” a hand (after record of three-five disks), it is possible to use usual (DVD) CD-R.
5. The software (ON) for CD/DVD record. Basically, if you use Windows XP/Vista in her already there are built in means of record. However they are defective enough and allow to write down only CD-R (disposable CDs-disks). Therefore insistently it is recommended to use special programs for these purposes.
