The modern life consists of alternatives. We constantly choose something. It concerns and our life, and to professional work. In simple situations we do not reflect at all what to choose and as it to make, in difficult – we build the whole systems of decision-making and we develop for this purpose a mathematical apparatus.

I think, you agree with me that a software choice (ON) for automation of operation of business or, more precisely, for support of the Information Control system (ИСУ) – a problem not absolutely simple even for the small enterprises. Also has put here at all in complexity of object of a choice as that, and mostly, that results of activity of your enterprise can strongly depend on this object.

This article was born on the basis of real projects, as mine, and joint with colleagues, and also the seminars read by me devoted to the decision of a problem of a choice. It is natural that within the limits of short article to discuss all problems connected with process of a choice ON for ИСУ it is difficult, therefore we will stop on PROCEDURE of a choice of the software for automation of operation of business. I.e. we will consider works which, our way to opinion, should be executed on this project and we will state our recommendations about carrying out of these works.

What for it is necessary? Now cost of software products and their introduction is high enough. If to consider all other expenses connected with process of automation the sums will turn out even more. Proceeding from it, heads should be assured that money for automation will be spent knowingly. I.e. as a result, we receive the objective choice proved from all points of view. Besides, the question of optimum use of the budgets allocated for automation is dealt with.
