Is responsible for normal loading of OS, but zamesto the usual driver of the display starts driver VGA.
Such option gives chance to define malfunction of the display. It besides helps to carry out some service problems, for example more simple updating of the driver of the display. Is not advised to apply the given mode to usual work as many utilities Windows XP will not function;
• Loading of last successful configuration (with efficient parametres) – Last Known Good Configuration. Restores earlier kept system configuration and applies it to loading. The given option is applied in a case when you have established the new driver which not so reliably works in system, and usual process deinstalljatsii it is impossible to start. Unfortunately, the given option leaves unnecessary drivers in system;
• directory service Restoration (Directory Services Restore Mode). Restores the configuration of system stored on the controller of the domain. This option can be applied only with Active Directory. Your system should be a domain part, and you should have access to a network. The option is used for fast restoration when loading of last successful configuration (with efficient parametres) does not work. In most cases you will need to restore a backup copy if the given option does not give result (failure means that copy Active Directory too is damaged);
• Usual loading Windows (Start Windows Normally). Carries out standard start of system as well as in case you will prefer one of options of the menu of loading;
• Reboot (Reboot). Reboots system. The given function is required only in a case when you have chosen one of the above-named options and have decided to be engaged in something other;
• Return to an operating system choice (Return to the OS Choices Menu). Returns you to the loading menu where you can choose a demanded operational environment. So, Windows XP offers a menu option on each case.
